Motorola RIZR Z6tv

I have a few questions about this phone and I am completely new at phones so I really don't know what is going on.

Q's:
1. Does watching TV cost extra on the phone bill?

2. How does the screen hold up?

3. Should I pick this phone or the Samsung Gleam?

The Motorola RIZR Z6tv is almost perfeck for me.

Pros

1.Size is just perfect.I'm 54 year old with medium to large hands, no problems.
2.Screen perfect.
send and receive near perfect
4.Light but sturdy
5.Bright colorful screen.
6.Batterty very good
7.Bluetooth is good.

Cons

1.Is there any way to make the Clock and font sizes Larger?

Other wise this phone is PERFECT for me....HELP

Can anyone tell me who the RIZR's music capabilities compare to the Chocolate8550? I love my music and I'm interested in this RIZR...but can anyone tell me if this RIZR is good with music or not so with music?

ex: How are the music menus? Can you scroll through music fast/easily? Can you text on the phone while listening to music?

PS: I need a new phone(my chocolate8500 -> send button stopped working, and my touch buttons are spazzing out).

I really like the missed call alert that I had on my Motorola 325. Most people don't leave me messages, so the only way I know to call people back is by seeing I have a missed call. If I'm at work, I can't by checking my phone every 2 minutes so it's nice to have an alert to tell me that I have missed calls. I have this phone (the Rizr), but I can't find that alert. All I have are alerts for new text message, new pix message, and new voice mail. Does anyone know if the missed call alert is available on this phone, and if so, how to activate it?

My son in law has the Motorola RIZR Z3 through T-Mobile.
He can use mine and his bluetooth headset to listen to his music. I have the Motorola H800 headset and we paired it to his phone and it worked.
I went and got the Motorola Z6 for Verizon so that I would be able to do the same thing.
Turns out I can't.
I contacted Motorola today, they said that both phones (verizon and T-mobile) have the A2DP profile on them and that you can't listen to music with my H800 headset. I told them that my son in law can with his Z3 and they can't understand why.

Can anyone help me with this. Has anyone else had any luck without having to buy the other headsets?

Hey everybody. I just wanted to let you know that I got the RIZR on opening day, and so far I have no complaints at all. I have seen some of the posts asking if the slide up part of the phone feels a bit shaky when its open, yes it does, but I do not believe it is enough to ruin the overall quality of the phone. Before this phone I had a KRZR K1M phone. The speaker-phone on the RIZR is much better than on my KRZR. I really liked my KRZR, but the speaker-phone was horrible for the people trying to hear me on the other end. So far on the RIZR I have had no problems like that at all. I was recently in Denver, and was able to use my TV service which worked flawlessly!! I live in an area where TV service is not available, but I travel to Denver e...

Can you record videos on this phone?

I know this might seem like a silly questions, but can anyone tell me if this has the dark blue display behind the key pad or the light indiglo blue like on the krzr K1M phone?

Also, which would be the better choice of the two?

I was thinking about getting this phone, but am concerned about it not having good picture quality due to the fact there's no flash.

Does it take good pictures w/out a flash?

I bought this phone yesterday. Used an LG vx8300 for the last 18 months. When I receive photo or mp3 attachments via (my number)@vzwpix.com on the RIZR, I get the text message, sender info, etc., but no attachment. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Does anyone know if the Rizr Z6 will come in different colors for Verizon customers? I see T-Mobile has the blue and pink versions.

Ive bin tired of my reception and speaker issue ive bin having with my lg 9400 and plus I cant wait till the voyager gets hear . I found out how to get 15% off at the moto store with no contract for the rizer witch I paid 309 with next day air , I did not think it was that bad considering verizon wanted over 400 for the rizr and Im saving my ne2 100 credit for the voyager . My ? is how is the reception and speaker and the whole phone in general compared to the lg-9400. If anyone out there had or has both phones please let me know witch phone is better in both departments .

Has anyone figured out how to get the PC Sync to work?

My shipped phone doesn't have the CD the materials refer to, so I downloaded the phones driver and Windows Mobile. The phone is now recognized by my PC and charges, but no accessing its memory of synchronizing it. I don't think Windows Mobile is the right interface for synching, either.

Any help folks can give will be appreciated.

I have had my V6 for about 3 or 4 days now. I absolutely love it. However I have noticed that it will randomly reboot the software. It only happened once during a call, most of the time it was during a "slide"

Wondering if anyone else has run across this or have heard if it is a defect or just needs a software upgrade.
