U540 Battery Life??

Is anyone having issues with the battery life with this phone? I have had the phone for a week now and it seems after making 3 - 5 short phone calls that the battery will drop to have the life in it.

My Sounds

Just received my u540 in the mail, seems good. What are the sounds in My Sounds for? Can you set these as alert tones for the phone?? Seems pretty pointless to store sounds on the phone that can't be used for anything.

Thanks in advance!!!

A few quick questions

I have a few questions, maybe someone can help me confirm, as I recieve my 540 Monday.
1) Could it be true? Speakerphone AND music while closed and with voice command?
2) The web browser, not Openwave? How is it in comparrison?
3) Still no text reading on the outside?
4) RF and battery (compared to the LG 8300)
Last... What's your favorite features on this one?
Oh yea, and I made sure to order the blue, Can't wait to get it.
THANKS!!!

SCH-u540 reception and call quality

How is the reception, call quality, and sound on the u-540 compared to an LG Vx8300 or other comparable phones with the same features? I can't decide between these 2 phones, but I'm leaning towards the u-540 because its slimmer. Any feedback would be appreciated 😁

customise ringtones or download normal ring tones

I have this phone and I want a 2 beep ring tone. I haven't been able to find any websites that let you down load "normal" ring tones and I was told you could customize the ring tones that are currently on you phone....any help would be great!!

Thanks!

File Formats

Can anyone tell me or direct me to where I can find the specific technical specifications on what files the SCH-U540 can handle? Image dimensions, MP3 bitrates, sound formats, etc. So far using only a microSD card I have only gotten WMA audio files to play, not MP3.

And speaking of MP3, I have read some conflicting info regarding whether the phone can use MP3s as ringtones. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, and if so, how?

Thanks much.

Rich, are you sure the Motorola maxx Ve has an FM radio?

I couldn't find any reference to it in the user manual. Here's a link to the user manual.
