Synchronize with Outlook

Using data cable from AT&T along with Samsung PC Studio 3 to synchronize with Outlook. Contacts and recurring appointments in calendar show up, but non-recurring appointments do not appear. Anyone have any ideas on fixing this so all appointments appear? šŸ‘€

volume control on sync

Hi! This is my first time to post here. I bought my husband and son a sync last week....it seems to be a little difficult to work. My daughter and I both have an LGCU500 and we really like our phones. They no longer make the LGCU500 though. I've read some of the threads here that say the sync is suppose to be better...My husband has a hard time hearing his phone. My LG is so much louder. I saw the post on how to put in the code and change the settings...i did just what it said. I set the settings on what the guy had posted as his settings. It didn't make any difference. Do you think I did something wrong? šŸ˜² It's highly possible I'm the first to admit! If someone out there could help me figure it out i would GREATLY appreciate it! Thanks ...

Dropping Calls

Has anyone else noticed that the Samsung Sync is dropping calls? I have this phone and I really enjoy it. However, I'm not impressed. What can I do to better my chances of keeping a call connected? I was talking to someone recently and the call dropped. I was talking to another person yesterday and the call dropped again. I could not call that person back because I had NO bars. I notice that my phone will have two or three bars at the most depending on where I am in my house. When I'm in open areas, I have almost maximum bars. I almost never had this problem with my Nokia phones when I was talking on them in the same areas in my house.

Text Messaging

Quick question. When you send a text message and it asks you to select which number to send to, is there a way to delete the list of numbers that is already on there?

SMS automatically saving to SIM??

Tonight my phone started saving all incoming text messages to the SIM card. Is there any reason why it would do this? The memory was not full, and it is empty now anyway, and I did not change a single setting. This is very annoying for one, and I cannot find *any* setting to reverse this. I have gone through Samsung's FAQ, the owner's manual, and every possible setting and nothing hints at changing that feature.
Please help!

Battery Life and MP3 Player

I have my Sync, and I think it's a great phone. No major complaints, strictly nitpicky things.

I do however have a question about Battery Life, I don't use my phone a lot during the day, but it seems as I have to charge it every 3 days. I have noticed that my MP3 player on the phone stays on. Is that draining the battery, how do I shut that down, other then stopping the song from playing.

On a side note, how many hours of MP3 playing do can you get? I'm going to be taking a long flight and Iā€™d like to use my phone as an MP3 on the plane, but I don't want it to die while on the plane, as I might need the phone when I get into the airport.

TIA

Random pictures

How do you save/find pictures that will work in the random wallpaper setting. I want to add my own pictures that will appear randomly when I open the phone.

Samsung Sync and Dropped Calls

I got a Samsung Sync several days ago, an AT&T branded one. I was using it outside behind my house. The signal strength indicator went from maximum strength to almost nothing within a matter of seconds. The call kept dropping and I had to call the person back. Could that be a problem with the network? I called the person back later on my home phone and then HIS cell phone kept dropping calls and he has T-Mobile. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Ringtones Size??? Less than 600 kb??

After getting my Samsung D807 last summer, I've mastered the art of cutting and mixing Ringtones under 30 seconds at less then 192kbps... But now my wife has the SYNC and the ringtones that work on my D807 DONT work on the SYNC....

A different post said the files need to be less than 600kb....but all my files are less than 600kb and the only ones that are actually allowed to be ringtones are less than 300kb....

Anyone know the actual facts about this??

Is there a length limit like on my Samsung D807? Or if its a size limit...what is the actual limit?

Front LCD

I received my refurb sync yesterday, and I'm curious about the front lcd. I don't know if this phone doesn't have a feature or if it is broken. There doesn't seem to be a way to access the front clock without opening the phone. It appears with the caller id but disappears quickly after ending the call. With my old phone, you just had to push a button on the side and the clock would illuminate. Not on my new sync-I've tried them all. Any thoughts?

POP Mail?

Hey everyone. I just got this phone for my wife. She infrequently checks mail from her phone. Is there ANY POP mail on here. I only see the listed accounts like YAHOO, HOTMAIL, etc. but no POP accounts. I see I can get to a pop account via MEdia net (yuck). Replies from their come from a cingular address rather than the POP account.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks
