9400 versus MAXX

Can anyone help me decide? I really had my mind set on the MAXX but I like the LOOKS of the 9400 better. I am a huge motorola fan too so going to LG scares me because I had the lg6100 and it was awful. Would drop a call when I was sitting still for no reason! Any info or help you could give, I'd appreciate. THANKS!

Where is 9400?

Am I missing something? Don't see it on web site. I saw it in 2 different stores in NJ. Played with it for about 1/2 hour. Really starting to like this. Still find the swiveling the top to make a call annoying. Buttons on top a little crowded. Guess it takes awhile to get used to.

7 Days til you can throw a 4 Gig card in this Baby!

On May 1 2007, the 4 gig Micro SD is coming out and the only current Verizon phones it will be compatible with are the vx9400 and vx8700. Thats as much storage as the lower end I-Phone!

Downloaded Games Are SLOOOOOOOOOW

I just got this phone a few days ago and I absolutely love it. BUT.... I have encountered a problem that may just make me have to return it. So far I have downloaded 2 games onto it, Derek Jeter Baseball and Super KO Boxing and they both run SUPER SLOOOOW. I had both games on my last phone (KRAZR)and both ran great. But on this 9400, the games are almost unplayable, particularly Jeter Baseball. Has anyone else had this problem??

Wow.....some great reviews by others

I have been unhappy with the call quality, muffled sound, dropped calls, and the fact the stores here don't have it so I cannot exchange it. I have never been told so much by others that "we have bad connection" or something similar in the 10 years I have been with Verizon. I would like to think that this phone only has the problem but others have complained also so I am afraid it may be more common than reviews indicate.

Just got the Phone

Playing with it for about a day now
No VCast TV in my area yet.

So far the Earpeice is super loud on high volume, I have to turn it down a notch or 2 to hear people properly without distortion. The Camera on default settings blur a bit after you take a pic. I played with the white balance settings and it seems to be OK or bareable. It's great you can make a call and open and close the swivel without ending the call unless you change the settings to do so. I got a 2gb flash in the phone which works great, I hear 4 GB cards are supported. The VZW UI of old is gone, the RED BARS people complain about are not here, but you only get 2 UI skins, VZW and LG. I bet others will be available for purchase. Menu Setup is the same as the other UI's 5...

Frequency conflict in Boston till 2008?

I visited the natick mass store at sherwood plaza and I was told by a technician that the mediaflo interferes with some frequencies in mass and will not be available until 2008 at the earliest. Is this true? When the FCC approved the mediaflo technology didn't they know about frequency conflicts?

Phone Calls

I haven't seen this phone in person yet, but from the looks of it, to access the keypad, you have to flip the screen around. That being said, when the screen is flipped, the microphone for the earpiece (the one you hear someone talking to you out of) would be off to the side, instead of top dead center, correct? Does that make phone calls a little "interesting"? Or, is it once you actually dial the call, you can flip the screen back to the vertical position?

TV and Stereo Bluetooth Headphones??

I've been trying to listen to VCast TV with a pair of Jabra Blue Tooth headphones and can't make it happen. I can pair the headphones and make phone calls with them but when I switch to TV it turns on the speaker. Is there a trick to this? It seems kind of goofy that they wouldn't support this option.

Thanks,

Richard

When is this baby coming to NYC?

I can't wait to get my hands on this phone but I haven't seen it in any Verizon stores in Manhattan and I've checked out a few.

Obviously this is a huge market and we're officially a week past the march 23 release date. Any ideas about when the vx9400 will be in stores?

VZ Navigator for the Lg VX9400 is now available

Upgraded both of mine this morning, go to Get Going, New App, then "VZ Navigator", the "Free Upgrade". It's a very good upgrade.
