Motorola i880 / i885

i have seen in some sprint phones that they play an assigend video as a ringer and i was wondering to they do that with the new nextel phones /???

Does anybody know if the i880 is gunna have a status light like the i930 and will it come in only plum or silver or black also?!!!

What kind of email capabilties would this thing possibly have? Would it be something you, the user, has to initiate to check for new email? or could it be setup to alert you whenever a new email is sent to you like a crackberry does? Been trying to decide between a BB or a regular cell phone for a while now... I need something that supports Telus Mike (Push-to-talk) but I really also want it to allow me to receive email notifications for my job w/o my manually having to check for new email...

Anyone have any idea?

Does anyone know when this phone is coming out? I know the rumor is that it will be in the first part of November, but are they going to hit hit that or be late? I am leaving my job and my Nextel Blackberry behind, so by November 5th I will need to get a new phone. I so want this phone!!! Nextel has changed their upgrade program, so I really want to have this phone when I activate my new account. Has anyone heard any new rumors? Am I going to have to settle for second choice, the I870?

It is about time that Next/Boost mobile gets a phone with stereo speakers! Finally ringtones will come out clear and loud!

This looks an awful lot like the phone that was theoretically going to be CDMA for voice and data and iDEN for PTT, does it not? Is that ever going to come out or was that just a load of BS? I would think that they would try to shy away the iDEN network since that was the original plan. Maybe I'm an idiot and I missed something, so correct me if I'm wrong about this.

Does the i880 have a status light in/on it (LED)? It looks like the same kind of button for Push To Flip as the i930 which has the status light in the hinge. So, does it have a status light?
