Motorola SLVR L7c

Is the SLVR L7c every going to come out for Sprint or no? If anyone has any info about its release date or anything please let me know.

Ok, I plugged in my SLVR phone into computer and keep getting the "name your playlist" window that you normally would get when you first put iTunes onto your phone.

Followed by an error code reading: THE MOBILE PHONE " " CANNOT BE UPDATED. AN UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURRED (-4😎.

Followed by: THE MOBILE PHONE " " CANNOT BE UPDATED. THE FILE OR DIRECTORY IS CORRUPTED AND UNREADABLE.

Is this a iTunes problem or my phone and or card???

Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any CONCRETE info that this'll be coming to VZW??? Or is it just rumor?
I will be upgrading in October and this phone looks good to me.
I've read a lot about it, seems the ones who love it LOVE it and the on the fence ones recommend the razr.
I want a leather cover for it. The one that's MADE for it, not that it slips into.
Some say the digital clock is dim.
Some say it's perfect.
Some say it's heavy.
Some say you can put any mp3 on your pc on there, some say you can't.
Some say its definatly coming to vzw. Some say not.
I was just wondering if anyone knew anything for sure.
I like the size of it, the bar style (can you lock it where it doesn't dial if in your pocket?)
Screen size seems good.

Whenever i call Verizon, and i ask about this phone they act like they have no information about it. i really hope this phone is coming out. Reps are no help... any information?

I had been waiting for 6 months for this phone to get here. Heard so many different release dates, 2nd half of '06, then Q4, then October/November, now Christmas. Considering that it's going to be coming out in that dull silver color (things would've been different if it was black), I decided to go for the KRZR. I never liked the RAZR but I'm extremely satisfied with this new Motorola phone currently only available to Verizon users. The resolution of the screen is great along with the camera. Plus, with a flip phone you can see yourself while you take a picture of say, yourself. Did that make sense? Anyways, it's not physically possible with a candy bar unless the camera lens is on the same side as the main screen. Which by this picture, Ver...

I want to switch to VZW primarily for their network but all the decent phones they have are flip phones. I wish they'd release this soon. ☹️

is it really comming to verizon? i called them about it and the rep acted clueless about it and like a complete retard... i heard maybe December but it says Tentative and im not really sure... anyone have info?

no word if they will auction off the unsold amount like the a960, or if this is just for the usual 6 months of exclusivity then its off to everybody else to sell, sprint, radio shack etc.

I hate the way that Verizon be bitin' Cingular. First the bit the Razr and now the Slvr. Where does the madness end? The fact that the Q & the "Chocolate" where originally GSM phones and Verizon did whatever they could to keep these phones from landing in Cingular's lap shows how desperate they are to win the "Carrier Wars". But too bad the Q's got nothing on the 8125 or the 2125 for that matter. And the chocolate got an terrible review in the wall-street journal.

cuz this phone is going to be locked up big time!
-same vzw slow retarded/boring UI
-cant sync with computer for pix and ringtones since it does not support obex just bluetooth for the earpiece.
-memory card microsd is useless since you can not copy ur own mp3 to it unless you convert them to wma format. what a pain. and its cool to have all ur music files in two diff type files on your computer thats superb.
-you can only buy the ringtones from GIN for 2.99 per song.

VZW is for old people that just wants a phone to hit SEND and END. they are sooooo behind on high tech end phone its not even funny!

I just installed Google Maps and find it works great for checking traffic and directions but this phone always ask:

Use data network?
Optional answers are:
Yes, Always ask
No, Ask Later
No, Never Grant Access

It seems like an option is missing.
How about: Yes, Never ask me again.

You can't scroll through the maps without the question popping up every 3 seconds.

It kills the whole experience.

How do I get my itunes to play on my bluetooth? Or is it possible? I heard it was, but trying to figure it out.

Previous Moto (Razr) was a terrible phone. I was so happy to get rid of that. So I will ask, are people that already use this on a diff. carrier happy with it and does that mean that Verizon cannot screw it up?

Any word when it's coming to Verizon? It's a great looking phone and hopefully performs better than the RAZR.

I know it's a dead topic, but is the hadsfree profile the only one VZW is supporting? And to you sprint people waiting for this phone: what BT profiles does sprint usually support?


I only ask because someone might be able to flash sprint's firmware onto a VZW phone and enable all of the blocked features (liek someone at HoFo tried to do for the E815 and the Bell firmware).
