Motorola KRZR K1

I've seen several K1's for sale on Ebay, Plemix etc and they all seem to be from Hong Kong or somewhere overseas and include with them a power converter. How do you know what you're getting from these sellers ? Very few include any kind of disclosure about the warranty. People posting merchant reviews seem to have trouble getting Motorola to handle any issues that come up. Some sellers say they'll deal with DOA phones but not much else.

Is it at least reasonably safe to buy one of these ? Can anyone recommend a reputable seller ? I live in Seattle so was going to try Plemix but if the low prices come with a hidden cost as in pre-opened boxes or phones with foreign language menus, it's not worth it.

I ordered my KRAZR from Ebay, batterymania for 349.00 (came with a car charger, but my old RAZR charger worked in the new KRAZR). It shipped and I had it in 3 days after placing my order.

This was a brand new, never been opened KRAZR K1. The KRAZR comes in a cool box, one side slides out to reveal phone, other side opens to the accessories (manuals, charger, etc.). The phone was new, never used as timers were all 0 and the protective tape on the phone faces, screens, and key pad was -factory- tape.

I downloaded my RAZR contacts to the old cingular SIM, and then put that SIM in the KRAZR, powered up, and phone came on, identified Cingular. All was ok and checked out. I made a call and all was great. I then made a la...

I recently bought the K1 and can't figure this out.

When I start to record, it only goes for 30 seconds then stops!

Is there a way to record longer than 30 seconds without creating multiple clips with pauses?!

OK..have ordered the phone. Now where can I find themes/skins etc to personalize this thing?? Or is it just too new to have site for this stuff?

I recently got the K1, I thinks its a very cool, like the size and the features.
But one problem, I set the time and my location which is Montreal and it will just change on its own. Is there something I'm doing wrong or this defective. Any advice.

The H601 was announced when the KRZR was announced. Anyone know more specifically than "4Q06" re. availability of the H601 in the US?
Also, is this comparable functionally to the H670 in UK?

I find that if 2 contacts have a duplicate number (even if one of 3 nos. is duplicated) I can not save the 2nd contact.
For instance if 2 work at same place, I can list their home &/or cell nos, but as soon as I add the duplicate work no, I am unable to save the contact.
Anyone know any great secrets to enable adding different names with same phone nos??

Lets say travel from Chicago to New York. When you get to NYC the time does not automatically revert to Eastern Time Zone. At the end of my business day, I have to physically go in and reset the time to Eastern Time...

My old razr always switched to local time, no matter where I was...

Anyone know of a setting in -set up- I may be missing??

I was wondering if anybody could help me with my problem. I got my phone yesterday and while I was playing music (yesterday) it froze, so I turned it off, then when i turned it on the hellomoto sign appeared (upside down) it then goes to the menu where it lets me do what i want for about five seconds then flashes and freezes then says hellomoto again (still upside down) and just repeats this process. [the outside screen stays blank (even when closed)]

So this phone doesn't work with mobile phone tools. I am able to transfer pics, mp3's, etc through simple bluetooth transfer. Anyone have a recomendation for a way to back up phone/sim contacts from this phone to a PC? (for now I just put my sim in another phone that I can back up with, just kind of a pain....) Guess it might be a while before there is a lot of support for this phone since it and it's OS is so new for moto. Thanks.
