Motorola KRZR K1

Does anyone know how to delete the data settings that come with this phone. I bought an unlocked KRZR K1 from ebay and I was able to send the tzone settings to it and install them, however when I tried to send the picture messaging settings it said I had reached the maximum limit I go install PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

One of the KRZR user reviews stated that the phone had no headphone jack (and that Bluetooth headphones were expensive) which implied there was no way to use regular headphones with the KRZR. That's not true. The phone has a mini-USB jack, and Moto sells both a mini-USB to standard 3.5 headset adapter and also mini-USB headphones. I bought the Moto adapter from Cingular to use with my Sony earphones and the sound is great - just as good as my Dell DJ MP3 player. Be careful when buying mini-USB to 3.5 adapters from eBay. The adapter needs to have the little amplifier block in between the 2 connectors - the adapters with just the two connectors and the cord in the middle do not work.

I currently have a Moto V635. It will go retrieve my emails as often as every 30 minutes. How often will the KRZR go retrieve my emails?

This phone looks awesome and I'm leaning toward buying it, but I need my phone to sync with MS Outlook. Has anyone done this? How well does it work?
I have a smartphone now that syncs great -- even automatically puts phone in silent mode when the calendar says I'm in a meeting! I'm not expecting this to be that good, but still need it to work reasonably well.

does anyone know if the price of this phone for cingular will drop anytime soon, like by next month sometime? because i really want this phone, but i don't want to spend $200 on it.

if you purchase this phone and a plan through walmart or best buy, do you have to order it online? or can you just walk into the store and buy it?

First off.....this is a HOTT phone! What a beautiful upgrade to a V3.......awesome phone....was gonna go w/ the v3r (hated the v3i b/c of the 100 song cap) but didn't wanna go with the v3r either b/c lack of EDGE, glad i waited.

is there ANY way to make the speaker work when you close the flip....i went through every setting.

secondly... i want to be able to listen to my phones mp3 player in the car.....there is no 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack....so im guessing bluetooth.....can someone tell me how this works and what i would need....want to play from my phone to my car speakers.

I purchased two unlocked KRZR K1's for use with T-Mobile...a cosmic blue (U.S.) version and a black (Asian--I think) version. Both phones seem to work fine with T-Mo, but when I send an MMS or attempt to use the web browser, the blue phone says "Edge Active" while the black phone says "GPRS Active". WTF? Both phones display the "E" symbol on the home screen indicating they're near an Edge enabled tower.

I'm wondering why one phone says Edge active and the other one says GPRS active. Is the Asian K1 Black not enabled for Edge? Neither T-Mobile nor Motorola had any idea what I was talking about!!

Is the speakerphone FULL Duplex? Full duplex allows you to speak naturally without having to wait for the other person to stop talking.

I was wondering if anyone else on here has the Pioneer 980/9800BT stereo unit. My phone will connect with the stereo because the it has BT 1.2 as required.

HOWEVER,the problem is transferring the PHONE BOOK. As soon as I try to transfer the phone book the phone disconnects. Anyone have any solutions to this problem or can point me in the right direction as to where to find a solution. THANKS IN ADVANCE, 🙂

my wife just picked up the K1 and was looking for telenav funtion is it not avail on the K1?

i have the black jack its a nice phone but i still have 2 weeks to return it, it cool, but not as user friendly as i would like it to be , i was thinking of changing it for the krzr, any advice?

Have any of you apple / mac users tried syncing your phone with your computer??? I want to buy this phone for my wife, but I want it to be able to sync all address book contacts and ical calendars from her imac. Please let me know if you have any experience with this. It's not on the device list on apple.com/isync, so I didn't know if that meant that it didn't work or not. Also, how is bluetooth file transfer with a mac? Thanks

I need a new phone NOW or at least VERY soon. I am leaning toward the Krzr. However, I feel like a sucker paying $200 for that phone. It's mostly cosmetic.

Anyway, is there any other BETTER phone coming down the pipeline real soon? Also do you see the Krzr coming down in price anytime soon? I really dont like what Cingular has to offer right now.

I read one review that mentioned some Address Book improvements in the K1. Are there and if so what are they ...???

I had a V3 for a few days and liked it except couldn't get along with the Addr Book.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the pic of the phone on the Cingular website shows external media controls like the K1M. This also may account for the delay with the launch.
