SE modding?
Does anyone know if modification of SE phones is possible/practiced? I know Moto has an extensive modding community with some pretty cool and sophisticated stuff.
I don't want to do anything crazy, just skin my interface to look a bit different than it does now.
I know SE has some excellent themes for free...but I'd really like to design my own.
Any thoughts?

Just so ya know I'm using a s710a, which of course has a different screen size than most of the cooler themes offered by SE.

Newer SE handsets that support Flash can have different menu systems according to the theme used. Beyond this I don't think there is much in the way of modifications for the UI on SE handsets. However, you may like to take a look at the forum below; there are some bright chaps there who are working on various projects for SE firmware. One of them might be better able to answer your question.
