Can anyone give me any answers on this issue?

I have had a Treo 650 with Sprint since July of 2005 and have had some serious issues with it the past few days. My phone seems to have crashed. All the memory is gone, the phone book, any programs I had downloaded from Treo or Sprint, everything. It has been turning on and off by itself continuously and locking up. I cannot make or recieve calls or text and no one at the local Sprint store can give me any answers because they have not been trained on the phone. I called tech support and did a master reset. I am still having text and calling problems. The screen and keypad lights are not working either. I was advised to do an update and have the phone flashed. Neither have given me any answers. Hope you have insurance on your $550 phone 😕
sounds to me like it's fried, assuming you have done a hard reset.

Yes I have insurance, but if I make a claim they will drop me because it would be my second claim. I refuse to not have insurance on this phone! I was told that it would be a warranty issue and it is only 6 months old, but they won't do a warranty claim on it. Yes I have done a hard reset and update the software to the current 1.12 version. It doesn't work.

I had the 650 with Cingular service, after 8 replacements (and the one I purchased) and a letter to the BBB they finally gave me a refund. Good luck with yours

What kind of problems were you haveing with yours? Who is the BBB?

My first one would turn on and off ( I think it was haunted LOL) Then the next 8 would turn on and off, freeze up, the camera stopped working, the phone itself would go on and off, drop calls. I had too many problems to mention on here the list would be endless. The BBB is the Better Business Bureua, Once I got them involved I had Palm calling me to get the problem fixed. They gave me a full refund. The problem now is that Cingular won't let me get the phone I want without paying full price, so I am using one of my old phones till I do more research.
