no a680's in sprint stores

Sprint no longer showes the a680 as an offer, but many independent stores do. Is it obsolete?
The Sprint rep wants me to look at the a620 instead. I think that phone is even older!
Also, the a740 does not really look like a replacement! Have heard good stuff about the A680. Worth searching out?

Both the a680 and a620 have reached EOL (end of life) status and will not be available much longer, if at all.

The a680 is not "obsolete" but has reached the end of its lifescycle. It is a good phone with the external LCD doubling as a mirror and the capability to take VGA still photos and video. You can even save the video to play as your screensaver. Plus, it has Voice Signal software that allows you to dial numbers, names, and more without any training, programming, recording, etc. It is much more accurate and quicker than other software on LG, Motorola, etc.

The a620 was around for much longer than the a680.

The a740 seems to take the a620's spot as an entry-level camera phone. It has the Voice Signal software as well (hold dow...
