BB 8310 Micro sd card space

This is a question I saw on here eairler, but I could not find it again.

Someone posted stating that the BB could hold up to a 32G card. Someone else said that they bought a 8G card, and then used the BB to format it, and it came up as a 4G card. If it is like mine, it actually gives you 3.6G of space. I had bought an 8G card, loaded it using an adapter (because putting 3+ Gigs of music through the phone takes FOREVER!) on my computer. After I was done I removed the card from the computer and put it into my BB. When my BB got done booting up, it said that there was corrupted data on it. If I only put 3.7 or 3.8 G's of "stuff" on the 8G card, the BB would read it.

Someone at an eletronics store (big nation-wide chain) had told m...

Blackberry Blogging Aggregator

Hello all!

I created a new site. It's a Blackberry Blog Aggregator.

http://www.blackberrybloggers.org »

The purpose is to get all the latest entries from all the blackberry niche blogs out on the internet.

It's supposed to be a one stop shop for all blackberry entries posted on the web. It's programmed to go out and grab the latest entries every 30mins.

One of the cool things is that you can register with the site and have blog links sent to you based on keywords you set in your alerts section. So if you're looking for anything "Storm" related, you just type in "storm" in the keyword section and all blog entries related to "storm" will be delivered to your inbox. Pretty sweet.

I've taken the liberty to add a few feeds from so...

How To Truly Unlock Storm

Here is the real walk through of how to unlock a Storm for use on any GSM... Any other unlock method, other than slight variations on this, will not enable all services, any claims otherwise are fraudulent.

Blackberry Pearl 8130 freezing and deleting my messages!

Its been a long time since I was on this site and frankly if the answer is already posted I don't feel like looking for it. Here is my issue.

My BB Pearl (Sprint) keeps deleting my text messages and call log as soon as I get them. I figured it had to do with free memory. Why does my free memory change all the time?

Also, why does my phone freeze up so that I miss calls and my alarm or alerts don't go off. This is seriously pissing me off since my husband just got to Kuwait and I woke up to 2 missed calls (and the number of course was already gone from call log) AND 2 voicemails from him. I miss him dang it! So I definitely don't want to miss another call from him!

Any help would be appreciated. The end.

Blackberry 8900 -- Codenamed: Javelin... ETA???

So... when does this come out for sale in the States? It's already available in Canada. No retailers around me though seem to have a clue as for a release date in the states. I did a couple searches in this forum but found nothing of relevance.

Also, known carriers for the Javelin?

I have an 8300 and would like to replace it... it's dieing. This seems like a great choice if it's available for AT&T.

Thanks!

Email hits bberry and is marked as read in inbox

We just upgraded our dell server and moved to windows vista. All of a sudden all of the company blackberrys (We have Sprint, ATT and Verizon)are causing a problem with our outlook inbox. All emails that hit the blackberry get marked as read in our inbox, whether they are opened or not. We have spent hours on the phone with carrier tech support, RIM tech support and Dell tech support. We've ruled out the carriers as a problem because the problem is consistent. it is not the units as everyone has a different model. It has to be RIM or Dell. Is anyone having this spame problem?

Storm on T-Mobile?

So on Verizon's "world" blackberries, is there normally a setting or some kind of way to force the phone onto a GSM network even if a CDMA network is available?

I'm honestly not interested in switching to Verizon, but should I find a way to lay my hands on a Storm despite that, I'd prefer to use it on T-Mobile... it has all the right radios, I just am not sure if it's worth the bother if there's no way to get it to use GSM when CDMA is available

8320 to G1

Ok. I have a Curve 8320 that I'm going to be upgrading to a G1 soon. I've updated it to OS 4.5. There's absolutly no option in the phone to transfer contacts from the phone to the sim card, not even one by one. There is an option to transfer the entire phonebook via bluetooth to another phone or device. My question is what phones/devices can hold my contacts and be able to transfer them to my sim card?

Streaming Video

Anyone know what the truth is behind streaming video on BB's?

I am fairly new to the devices, service, and selling them... The "official" literature I have, as well what I was told by the BB rep when we did our 2 day training, and later by another BB rep when he did my in store setup run through, was that no streaming video at the time, ie youtube, but they were hoping to get it added in soon, like when they launched the Bold/Storm, but that you would have to have one of those devices...

Well, of course I am not one to just take what someone says, so the second I got my 8110, I went straight to youtube and tried to play a video, no go... not shocked, but disappointed, and from my little experimentation, no way to download the video ei...

benefits of going w/ 4.5?

I was contemplating installing the CDMA version on my Verizon 8330 but before I went through the hassle I thought I would figure out if it was even worth the trouble.
