on my treo today....and i went on mytreo.net saw a cool download called touch launcher wich is kinda cool i recommend it its a pretty cool app for the phone

sprint sells it's treo's without ever asking if you have windows xp media center. i had a 650 for 1 1/2 years, and it failed (constant white screens and delays, it turned into a piece of worthless crap) but i had a full coverage so it was replaced with the 755. my 650 and the palm desktop software supplied with a disc worked fine for the whole time with the 650 ?? even though palm says it is not compatible and they don't support it! guess i was lucky for a while! i hot synced constantly (had to with the constant data entered to be safe with these unstable devices) and used a several sd cards with lots of pictures and files, and all backed up fine. i never knew it wasn't supposed to be compatible, as i was never told, and since it always work...

I saw a story on the news last night about Palm closes some of its retail stores bye the end of January...is thier any Palm rep on here or any one else know about any of this that might want to fill me in

I am hoping to be able to run two different calendars... one for work that would sync with the exchange server, and the second, a personal calendar (for home and family). I don't really want everyone at work to have access to my personal calendar on an exchange server. I know that Outlook supports this, but does the Palm OS?

I had to send my 755p back to Palm for a warranty repair about a month ago. Palm states in their RMA email that you must provide insured shipping both ways. It only cost me $33. They also detail that the unit must be well packaged to avoid shipping damages, naturally.
Well, I got it back today. My expertly repaired Palm (not replaced with a new unit) was waiting for me on my doorstep when I got home. I did not know what was in the package and was surprised when I opened it.
In that thinly-padded envelope, in a cardboard sleeve was my utterly destroyed 755p, complete with non-insured shipping label (they didn't use my prepaid, insured return for some reason). I honestly don't see how the unit could have survived given the packaging that Pal...

yesterday i called palm and sat on hold for a little over 45 minutes waiting for somone. then got disconected....called back and got connected to somone right away with no wait time at all (chose same ivr options and everything).... 🙄

called back a few times after that for different reasons and got disconected after waiting on hold for around 5 minutes (that happened about 3-4 times).

plus i can never get ahold of anyone that speaks english (wich seems pretty normal nowadays but still..).

so yeah, palm f'n sucks. 😡

I have a 700w and am considering purchasing the 750. Does anyone know the differences between the 2 units?
