Hey Gang,
I had got my Z3 to sync with my Mac via isync bluetooth using the work-around here:

Things worked fine, everything synched no problems. But recently it's stopped working. Suddenly the isync process fails right at the end with the error:

There was an error getting data from the phone. The synchronization may have been cancelled on the phone.
Device "Simon's Z3" synchronization failed

As far as I can tell, nothing has changed with the phone or the Mac, no software updates, no changes in the settings.

I know, these are older phones, but the company I work for carries mostly discountinued phones and we are going to be getting in the v710 and I'd like to know which phone is best, so i can tell my custys. I personally favor the e815 (haven't tried the v710). Thanks!

Hi Folks,

Although I have the text option with Verizon, I stopped receiving incoming text messages. When I try to send one, I get a 'memory full' error message even though the in/out box has no saved messages. Additionally, the memory used says 5.5 mb and something like 11 mb available. I spent :30 minutes on the phone with Verizon only to get "uh..beats me." I'm thinking a master reset may help fix this problem. Does anyone know how to do this? The option is not available on the v24.1_01.19.07 version.

I just received two "new" unlocked V3 phones from electronics-4-u and they appear to have been programmed for the British market - for example, the menu item for 'personalization' shows 'personalisation' - anyway, I don't know how to program the voicemail function (my last unlocked phones didn't require anything special for this). I called local Cingular/ATT and asked them what they'd charge to update the software in the phones and they have no clue what I'm talking about - what should I do?

please bear with me as i am new here and not to good at this wireless tech.
i just upgraded to a motorola v9m phone. due to the fact that i lost the old lg...

my phone came pre programed with 25 pictures on it from verizon i am guessing.. they are all locked and i can not delete them.. anyone know how to get in there and get them out of my phone.. i rather not want to scroll through 25 images that someone else thinks i should have on my phone.

on top of that there is a some already on there and it by prince(or the artist formly know as) or what ever he goes by now... anyway i hate the guy and cant get that some off the phone...if my phone has a music player i want it to play my music not a song that someone else thinks i should list...

My Dad has a Motorols Razr V3m that he bought refurbished last June because his old one froze up. The problem is that even when he is not using it, the battery life will go down quicker than it does regulary, even if it is fully charged. While it was still under warranty, he took it to a Verizon store not too long ago to get a replacement battery. Since this is his sceond battery, should he just get a new phone or a new battery?

I have a customer who has purchased a Motorola Rockr z6m (US Cellular). She has custom ringtones assigned to her contacts. She purchased a Moto h-500 Bluetooth set, but is upset because she can not hear her "custom" ringers through the Bluetooth set, it is just a generic ring. The custom ring still rings on the phone, but not in her ear.

Does anyone have any experience with a Bluetooth set that would support this on the Rockr. I use a Samsung WEP-200 on my Nokia 6265i and this is not a problem at all. It needs to be just an ear piece, not headphones.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

My 14 month old got a hold of my wife's KRZR. Now her phone will not hangup the call when we close the phone. It also will not answer when you open the phone. This has nothing to do with the speakerphone being on.

I have looked through all the menus and cannot find anything to correct this.

Has this happened to anyone else and any advice on how to correct it would be MUCH appreciated.

was thinking about getting a v9, its been out for awhile so why is there no oem cases for it? i have always liked motos but cant understand why moto is not up to speed. is this all part of a bigger problem with moto.

I have a A1200 Ming. When I use my Motorola phone tools to sync the calendar from Outlook 2003, the appointments or Holidays will be one day off. Independence day will be on July 3rd on my phone but July 4th on my Outlook. I know that July 4th was on a Thursday last year and a Friday this year,next year probably a Saturday. I entered a vacation day for a Friday on my outlook and it transfered to the Ming on a Thursday.

Any setting I have overlooked?
