Battery life

Background: my first Android phone was the Samsung Moment which I still use. I have seen both 1.6 and 2.1 versions of Android on this phone. I live in an area with fairly good Sprint coverage.

Currently, my Moment gets about 16 hours of battery life with very little talk usage, one to two hours of web usage, and background data turned on so I can get email updates.

With similar usage patterns, my wife's Blackberry gets about 3 days of battery life before she gets down to 1 bar of battery and needs to plug in.

Now for my question:
What sprint phone with Android will get the best battery life in a 3G area (before anyone asks if 4G is an option)

-Thanks in advance for any responses

You will be lucky to find an Android phone that gets more than a day of normal usage. Android phones use way more juice than other platforms because of the increased CPU capacity, sheer number of push accounts you can set up, and most of all, the LARGE, vibrantly colored, touch screens.

Your best bet is get the Android phone you want, without regard for battery life. Battery life isn't a selling point of any Android phone (Heck, I promote the G2 because it can make it 16 hours off the charger with a hair more usage than what you do. That is about 2 hours more than the runner ups, not a huge difference, but for those battery lovers it works out well since the G2 is the best Android phone we carry, well maybe the G2X now.

hm... that doesn't sound promising... Next question: Do all android phones take 90+ seconds to boot? The moment is in excess of 94 seconds from the first sign of booting (samsung logo) to being responsive to input...
