Any Android phones with "one handed" keyboard?

Used the Phone Finder and haven't been able to find one, but want to make sure:

Are there any Android phones that have a keyboard you can use with 1 hand, like Treos and Blackberries do?

One of the things I really miss about my PalmOS Treo was the ability to type on it one handed. The phone I use now (a Windows mobile 6.1 one) has a slide out keyboard that I thought I'd like better, but so often I want to type with just one hand that I really like the Treo style better.

Thanks for the reply Fireball :-)

That should work, but I've been doing that on my Windows phone these last several months hoping I could get used to an on screen keyboard, but it drives me nuts: I have to look at the keyboard in order to type on it (no way to "touch type" on a "touch screen" since it all feels the same). I'll get to the end of a sentence and look up at what I've typed to see I misspelled a word at the beginning. And there's nothing like arrow keys so I have to either try to point precisely at the thin column of pixels just after the letter I need to correct or delete everything from where the cursor it to where the bad letter is.

I think I first saw a "vertical slide" phone on some movie and thought how stupid it was ...

The HTC aria is small enough to use better one handed. I don't know if windows has the apps to let the onscreen keyborad do this but for android one handed I use: slideit, or swype.

Those apps will string the letters together so it gets the word faster. See if you can get used to it. I feel its easier than individual letter pushes on the touchscreen.

But I prefer 2 handed physical keyboard when I can.
