e-mail with attachment won't send

HTC.Cingular 8125 user

Apr 5, 2006, 1:12 PM
I have a Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) which is configured to sync e-mail with a Microsoft Exchange server. Mail is sent correctly, and I am able to receive and forward e-mails with attachments. BUT, when I create an e-mail with attachment on my device, it won't sync. I receive a message saying to delete it from the Outbox and try again. Of course, this is unsuccessful.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

My best educated guess is to look for support info in Microsoft's Data Base. Unfortunately, I don't have an exchange server to use with my 8125, so I won't be able to give you the correct answer. My best suggestion would be to get a free pop3 account, perhaps through GMail, and send your attachments through there, since it uses your pda connection as well. Also, how big are the attachments, I guess there might be a restriction as to how big an attachment can be.... ????

Sorry, I couldn't be of much help.
