Hey, I just got a bb playbook so i can confirm that for QNX they have a half-bucketfull (3 that are probably exactly like netflix), one of which is just called "flix" or possibly "flicks".
I wouldn't know about a 9790 though..

checked it out, it'l allow you to play the movies (offscreen) on a computer and it'll transmit it to the phone via wifi.
