Qualcomm Gets FCC Nod For MediaFLO Spectrum

Qualcomm today received FCC approval for its use of two UHF licenses needed to continue the buildout of the MediaFLO network. It will now be able to use licenses that serve Chicago, Milwaukee and Gary, indiana The MediaFLO network operates in the 700 MHz spectrum on what is currently television channel 55. Because broadcasters must clear these channels out for the digital television transition, any sale or new use of them must be approved by the FCC.

Am I the only one eXcited about this?!?!?!?
No buffering, it's digital, AND it's live! ! !
I'm actually waiting until THIS time next year, when DVB-H or Media FLO handsets are available in the U.S., I'm not even under contract right now, nor have I been for 6 months, bc nothing currently on the market appeals to me.
