just outta curiosity to all verizon reps

ive been a tech support rep myself for over 2 years now worked for dish then apple now sprint and im a verizon cust i cant help but notice everytime i call in you guys are great like u sound almost too happy that being said i know me and several of my co workers arent ever as happy as you guys are how do you do it? does verizon pay that well lol?

but so far im impressed tho ive almost been with verison a year and never had an issue with bad customer service now at the same time i dont call in alot i did when getting a replacement droid x but they were awsome and every1 i talk to belive it or not alot of my coworkers have verizon nothing against sprint just in our area verizon has better coverage and we all agree who has the customer service award with wireless carriers??

Yes. Though if they keep following the Alltel model I would not expect salaries to rise as much as they once did. That's why they are called "the good old days".

From what I understand, the call reps are heavily monitored. They will weed out the bad ones and keep the good ones with positive feedback. I work wireless retail and I've gotten my fair share of assholes (both in consumer and retail support), but I've also gotten a lot of really kind ones with a sense of humor. That really does make a night and day difference to me when I'm having hardcore phone upgrade/activation issues. I truly do appreciate the can-do attitude and friendly service. From both a consumer and sales consultants point of view...
