Space Case (kinda long)
Occasionally, since I work for Verizon, I get questions about their landline service. There's absolutely nothing I can do with landlines, but some people refuse to believe me. This one takes the cake.
A man comes in this morning wanting to pay his home phone bill. I can't do it, so I tell him where he can. He proceeds to rant and rave for five minutes about how I need to get on the phone and straighten Verizon out because they've been jerking him around, charging too much, etc. I tell him at least 3 times there's nothing I can do, he has to call them. He holds up some random brochure he found somewhere and tells me "it's all in here, you can do it, you just won't, I know the truth...". He then goes up to each of my coworkers and te...

I feel bad for the people who work in AT&T retail stores now that they handle almost everything under the sun related to their products and services(landline, wireless, LD, etc).

I feel bad for them that once this iPhone thing launches the fools will come in demanding it for free.
