Holiday weekends...
...are pretty much pointless. My day so far:
3 rednecks asking me to put $5.00 on their prepay accounts because that's all the money they have and they "gots ta make" phone calls. Sorry guys, minimum is $15.00. No...Walmart doesn't sell $5.00 cards either.
A mom slams down a charger on the desk complaining that it doesn't work and it's only a month old. The whole tip is broken off. She wants a new one under warranty. I didn't even sell her the phone in the first place and I'm an agent. I couldn't do it even if it was legit. I ask to see the phone and sure enough, the tip of the charger is stuck in the bottom of the phone. What's worse, it's stuck upside down and the whole port is broken out. Guess what? No insurance. She'...

It's been nuts in here. Not only did we sell 8 phones (there's only two of us in the store) in less than 2 hours. But we've had another gullywasher and have had 16 people come in wanting me to put them in a loaner they are probably going to drown at the lake later.
I only have two hours left and them I am going to be unavailable for consultation!

Saturdays are bad enough, but this has been silly! I actually had someone cuss me out today because I wouldn't put them in a loaner (I'm out), and required that they replace the phone out of their pocket. I just looked him in the eye, and when he stopped to draw a breath, asked him if he was done yet, and walked him to the door.

Haha you're day is definitly worse than mine, lol. I did however have a couple of hefers come in that, combined weight, would get rejected at a weight station off of a highway... who wanted to use her mothers credit card to purchase a pick your plan phone, which wasn't going to be activated today... lol. I don't know sometimes. I really don't.

I've been here for an hour, haven't had a single customer. I probably won't all day. I wish I could leave at 4 like we used to close before, now I have to stay until five. Damn it.
