Moto v220

Rich, let me ask you something. The v220 is tri-band 900/1800/1900 overseas, here it should be 850/1800/1900. I have higher up in Cingular telling me that the v220 that we are gonna sell has 850/900/1900, is this true? Would moto do this for just cingular? it doesn't make sence to me. i think i proved him wrong and he doesn't like that fact that i know more than he does. Can you find out for me?

From the Cingular BEAT announcing the launch:

Effective August 16, Cingular Wireless will launch the Motorola V220 tri-band (850/1900 MHz North America and 900 MHz Overseas) world capable GSM/GPRS phone in all GSM markets.

Hmmm... conflicting stories here... he says it COULD be 850/900/1900 for Cingular, but the ones he's seen are 850/1800/1900.

that's what i thought. it would make any sence to make it that way with 850/900/1900. we'll see, mine should be in on monday. they should have been here thursday.
