I guess it depends on your point of view. As time goes on and phones gain more features, yesterday's high-end phone is today's low-end model. So while the 6000 series was once top-of-the-line, now it's definitely not. So if you mean "successor" as in the next top-end model, that would be the VX-7000 or perhaps VX-8000. If you mean "successor" as in the next 6000-series model, that would obviously be the VX-6100.
