Though I cannot answer for Rich, I imagine that Palm will keep it's own category for discussing the phones that released when Palm was a company, and a new HP category will be created for their phones.

I can agree with that. Though all the "Palm" branding in the offices were changed to HP. Also the whole "HPwebOS"
