I work for a corporate store and very rarly are we ever not busy enough to answer our store phones. All company stores are set up to transfer the calls that go unanswered to our call centers - Even if you are trying to reach a certin rep the call center employee can take a message and send it to the person you are trying to reach via e-mail. The other thing is get someone in the store's business card. On mine I have my cell number right on there - If a customer calls and I can't answer they leave a message and I call back in between the customers I am helping in person.

Many companies do that, though. Don't single Alltel out for that.
