yes it is, themps.

Oh, you've had this comin' for awhile. It's called "schooling". You've been "schooled".

Most of this post is just my personal anger towards yourself, but I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad Alltel's being acquired.

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAAA! I'm not even a huge fan of VZW either, but "Can you hear me now?" is WAY less annoying than Chad.

ADIOS LEWSER!

It's not better coverage. That is the most ignorant statement I've ever heard.

How is this being "schooled" are you stupid?

You need a life if you actually get joy off of this. That is a sad existence. How is one successful company being bought by another equal a "schooling" wake f**k up you idiot. There is no schooling going on by you or anyone. Merely a demonstration of your sad life. You did nothing, any vindication you feel is delusions of grandeur that may be an indication of your mental illness.

HAhhahahahhahahahaa....I'm really gonna miss you. Are you being assimilated into VZW? Are you just bitter cause you're gonna be unemployed? How long did it take you to come up with your overly convoluted retort?

Trust me, 20 minutes on a message board a day hardly gets the trophy for being a large part of "my life". You're a crybaby.

Its doubtful that they will lose my circle. Most likely VZW will allow them to stay on their plans however with the understanding if they upgrade their phone they have to change to vzw nationwide plans.

which will not include my circle but will include unlimited IN calling to 80 MILLION CUSTOMERS.

That's fine. But My Circle is ten times better then IN calling. We already had M2M. And most people in the area where Alltel is, had Alltel. SO it's moot.

ok, so, here's where I agree. MyCircle was better than anything VZW offered.

The bottom line is Verizon will make you pay higher bills and you have less services. Thats the bottom line. If you want to talk about working for verizon your welcome to ask me questions.

Yup. It's been known for awhile over on the Verizon forum, where BB2709 likes to troll, that BB2709 is in fact an ATT troll, who also goes under the name of AvgJoe.

His opinion means jack and s***, and no one should take him seriously. It's also known that he does not work for Verizon.

Yes, I've been following his tripe for some time now. It's kinda sad, cause you know most likely gets off with getting all this attention, but he's such a little spaz, ya just gotta talk about him.

the most arrogant company in the world has the most customer friendly policies hands down in the industry

explain that to me?

whats so arrogant about vzw, other then consistently rating higher in most categories by jd power, consumer reports, etc. and letting you know that info.

All you have to do is start reading the Verizon posts. Our poop does not stink is all over the place. This works in New York city with Charley Sheen in Wallstreet type people, but it will not fly with rural america. Go ahead Alltel people, start reading the posts on Verizon, its all in black and white.

Such name calling!

VZW is a great company that has opportunities just like the next. VZW strives to be the market leader in wireless. It also strives to listen to the customer and meet their needs. That doesn't mean that they will do every single thing a customer wants them to do. What company does that?

Are all Alltel customers 100% satisfied with every single policy and aspect of the company??? Probably not sir.

you didnt post any truths.

the fact is vzw has hands down the most customer friendly policies in the industry. that is not arrogant, that is an attitude of wanting to partner with its customers to make mutually beneficial moves.

the fact that some people on an internet message board post about how great a carrier is does not make the carrier itself arrogant. all carriers have trolls that put the service over on online message boards.

Its nice to see that somebody did not drink the Kool-Aid and can speak the truth. The really bad thing for Alltel customers is that most of the service areas are rural, and so customers will in many cases have no choice but to join the cult, so why would Verizon not raise rates and force the inferior plans on people? This is why I hope the FCC will intervene.

I don't know probably because they want to CONTINUE to grow...? They won't be happy at 80 million so they will still do everything they have to do to stay competitive and build revenue. As for the "inferior" plans...I admittedly don't know a damn thing about Alltel but after looking at their website the plans appear to be very comparable with the exception of my circle.

Yeah and my cirle is a big deal. Also 7pm nights option and TRULY unlimited data.

Most alltel customers use 4000-6000 anytime minutes....and pay 80 or less.

Thanks for the welcome...but...

Our prices are going up. We already have nationwide coverage. And out unlimited calling is going away. My Circle wasn't just for an increase in M2m. Most m2m is local. Meaning Alltel subscribers talk to alltel subscribers more then they do others because in the areas that alltel actually is they dominate.

Jun 6, 2008, 3:18 AM
The charges for roaming might be outrageous. But they are very very seldom. When verizon has a carrier that charges them alot they just don't let their customer roam on it even if they wanted to. That is how they provide no roaming charges.

I don't think this is going to be a bad thing in the end.

There will be some markets where there will be some licenses sold to another player - and they will make the most of the combined physical infrastructure (towers, etc.) - in fact, this deal will give Verizon a plethora of tower space to deploy all that 700mhz gear in the coming years.
