Razr2?
Has anyone heard when the razr2 is coming out? I have a krzr right now and its a piece of crap. The screen never lights up when i flip it open and the camera won't work anymore.

Won't know anything for sure for a while, maybe until Qualcomm/Broadcom law suit is resolved. IF the RAZR2 was in the pipeline prior to the suit, we might see it as soon as the current quarter. I sure hope so...the V3a is a joke when you've had the V3m! If the new RAZR was not already in the pipeline, take a deep breath...you won't see it until after the legal decision is over.

Verizon isn't going to have an exclusive on it. And if they do it won't be for long. Alltel had the razr before verizon why not the rzr2.

VZW is paying the patent, Sprint created a software patch to work around the patent, and Alltel hasn't annouced their steps towards the patent ban. If Alltel waits it out, there's no telling how long the wait is. I'm pretty sure the RAZR2 was developed before the patent ban. Alltel should get the RAZR2 when Moto fully releases the model to all carriers.

I read on the Motorola website that Alltel, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and a few other networks are getting the RAZR2

You might see it in about two years. Once the 815 has been discontinued, expect that to be about christmas, when they come out with a new kyocera flipcrap...

The E815 when to end out life notice earlier this week... Alltel is trying very hard to get customers out of the E815 by swith them to the V3a or u520 without any cost to them.

Looks like Alltel and Verizon will be getting this phone. I would assume pretty close to the same time just like the V3C. Alltel released first, then not even 2 weeks later Verizon released it.

What does that prove? Verizon is listed as tentative too. They also went the extra mile to pay $6 per unit to bypass the Qualcomm issue.

if you read phonescoop news it said ALL carriers will get the razr2 and the ones who haven't announced, should announce in the next 2 weeks

Yeah the Razr2 and the New Blackberry is coming out 2-3 weeks from today so just hope it doesnt get pushed back like the Motorola Q did.
