i930 info
First of all, I'm not claiming that what I'm about to tell you is the "absolute truth" I'm just telling you what I've heard, because I think people here want to know. I have family that work for nextel. The i930 has pretty much been confirmed. However, it will not have bluetooth. It will have iden, Widen, and GSM, because it is going to be nextel's new world phone. Which means that phone will already have triple radios, and I haven't seen a quaddruple radio phone yet. What IS going to happen though is there is going to be a whole i9xx series. There will be an i960 that improves upon the i930 and adds bluetooth in exchange for removing the gsm functionality. For the benefit of people like MarkF, here is some specs from the FCC's website stating that the i930 is indeed a Triband Iden, Widen, and GSM phone, confirming what I said on this post. Now there is no concrete information yet on the i960 or i980, so you people can choose to believe me or not, but I was the first one on here to give this particular information on the i930 and this proves it:

Yeah, they are converting to CDMA, although intially they will have dual mode cdma/iden phones.

I know this is an old thread, but on the bottom page 2 of this FCC URL states that the i930 is capable of PCS 1900 and hence could easily be adapted to it.
