Insight On TeleNav

We have seen TeleNav on the net... I have got e-mails that breeze over it... Has any one used it with older Nextel phones or the new i730?... It looks as if the subscriber has to add an NOL feature and then go (via PC) to TeleNav.net and register... What comes next? It looks as if you can get real-time directions via the handset, both by the mapping to the screen and voice over the speaker phone...

Any info is helpful.

Purchase a data plan from Nextel, then sign up at telenav.net. I think it's about $12 a month.

The how is like this:

You can pre-plan your trip by logging into the telenav website and entering street locations. When you turn on your phone and open up the telenav appication, you "refresh" your address list. All the addresses that you entered (up to 10) on the website are now in a menu on your phone. Scroll and select one, hit GO and it starts to work. It GPS verifies where you are now, and begins giving you screen and voice prompts to get to where you want to go. Works just like a GPS system installed in many newer cars.
