phone question

I'm kind of new to the cellular company researching thing. I've had Tmobile/Voicestream for years and I'm not looking to go anywhere else. I've been looking at other companies with my boyfriend whose contract expires next week. I was told by the cingular and att rep that they can special order any phone they don't carry in there store that works on their network.

Now I like Tmobile's phones in the UK, and I was wondering if anyone had imported a phone through tmobile or special ordered one. I've been waiting 2 years to get a new phone and my poor v60 cannot last much longer, but I really dislike all of the US tmobile phones.

Thanks

There are some sweet phones coming out shortly, like the Samsung D415 slider and P735 swinging clamshell design megapixel camera phone. Otherwise you should look into the Sony Ericsson Z600. I can order those pretty easily if you are interested; factory unlocked of course.

You could order a phone from overseas but if the phone is broken or there is a issue with it and its a completely differnent phone than what t-mobile USA has we really have no way of troubleshooting it and if you would need to do a exchange on the hs than you would need to send it to the company that you bought it from. t-mobile would not be able to do a warrenty replacement. so get a phone from t-mobile and then get a unlocked phone from wherever and if there is a issue with that phone and you need to send the phone back you wont be out of a phone.
