it's when i'm eligible for the best pricing upgrade. i'm currently using the 6101 (which i love just for the basic phone part of it).

how come only cingular usually gets those high end phones such as the Nokia 6682 and SE S710?

because cingular pays nokia and sony millions of dollars to be the exclusive provider for normally 6 months to a year..basically cuz they are scumbags with their hands always in mama bells pocket 😈

Buy any phone you want unlocked. ALso Nokia 6682 is not new, it is dead now, look up the N or E series for better phones.

US carriers dont get high end phones, so dont wait.

There is an e-mail going around the ranks to tmobile customer care employees.
On it there were 12 devices.
BB 7501t
SK2 Limited Ed
HTC Wizard
HTC Tornado
Moto A910 (our first UMA phone)
Moto PEBL
Moto Q Smartphone
Moto RAZR Pink/Blue
Moto V360
Samsung T309
Samsung T809 (like the E635 but slim as a RAZR)
SE GC89 PC card (EDGE capable)
I know a lot of these have been launched already...these are just in the email I got.

i also currently am using this phone. the only bad thing about it is how badly distorted the mp3 ringtones sound and how the menu sometimes responds slowly for every time you move the cursor (compared to my e315)

Yeah, I've noticed Nokias don't have the best sound quality when it comes to ringtones. Overall, though, Nokia is the best GSM has to offer. Sanyo, in my opinion, is THE best.

Any word on when the HTC Wizard (a.k.a. MDA Vario) might be out? I spoke to a rep 2day and she had no clue what I was talking about.

Thnx. Right now, I need to pick up a smart phone for work and I'm juggling between the HTC Wizard and the Treo 650. I'm very familiar with Palm - had one for yrs. However, this Wizard looks like it might make me finally switch. Too bad this isn't coming out sooner. I know I can buy the Wizard already (a.k.a. MDA Vario, Qtek 9100, Imate K-Jam), but there's no way I'm spending $750 on a phone/pda - that's insane! I realize your info on this item is limited right now, but any idea what the price slot might be if I'm picking up a new plan through TMOB?

If I were to guess most of our PDA type devices go between 200-400. I'm thinking around $300 if I were to peg down a guess.

BTW, it's rumored that T-Mo may offer the Moto-Q in time for the holidays. This is a sweet phone!

Highly unlikely. The url you posted says not to expect it until Q1 2006. Moto is not known for punctuality.
