What is the difference between these two services? They sound like the same thing to me (there is a $1 price difference between the two).

Descriptions:
T-MobileWeb Search the mobile web, find directions to the places you want to go, get local, international and financial news, stock quotes, weather, sports, play online games, email, community chat and more, right at your fingertips anywhere you go.

Unlimited t-zones Unlimited t-zones for $4.99 includes unlimited Internet e-mail and Mobile Web content.

can someone explain the differences between these three.

“t-mobile internet” “t-zones” and “GPRS” and “t-mobile-web” they all get you to the internet?

I know this sort of is the same question that was posted but I also saw the choice on the site of GPRS and also t mobile internet (they must be referinng to tmobile-web)

is there a way for someone to send an email to my phones such as phonenumber@tmobile.messaginng.com from their email account and it goes to my text message account. With nextel my phones "email address" was my phonenumber@messaging.nextel.com

TMobile Web and T-Zones are the same thing. TMobile Web is the new name with a price increase. It allows unlimited access to WAP internet on your phone. That is, mini sites designed for mobile phones.

TMobile Internet ($20/mo) is unlimited access to the REAL internet. Generally, phones alone can't browse the full internet. This plan would be for the following situations:

-A PDA device that has a full web browser.
-A cellular modem (or "aircard") that attaches to a laptop for access anywhere on the TMobile network
-A Phone attached to a laptop serving as a modem for access anywhere on the TMobile network.

GPRS and EGPRS (EDGE) are the actual technologies behind these services.

thanks that clears it up.

Can you comment in this question
"s there a way for someone to send an email to my phones such as phonenumber@tmobile.messaginng.com from their email account and it goes to my text message account. With nextel my phones "email address" was my phonenumber@messaging.nextel.com"

I'm also confused between SMS message and text messages and multimedia messages. Can I send all three? Use what and when?

Yes, just send e-mail to @tmomail.net. (Obviously, you need to replace with your actual number.)

Also, make sure you send e-mail as plain text, otherwise it will look ugly!

Any phone capable of sending or receiving text messages (Short Message Service/SMS) or picture/video messages (Multimedia Message Service/MMS) is authorized to do so on the T-Mobile network.
SMS are billed at $.05/message
MMS are billed at $.25/message

Currently there are three bundles available for higher users to save some $$$. In these bundles, SMS and MMS are all the same.

$4.99 400 Messages
$9.99 1000 Messages
$14.99 Unlimited Messages

Though I don't mind answering questions, you may want to take advantage of phonescoop.com's relatively extensive glossary listed on the links at left. Rich does a great job keeping on top of those and its a good place to start so you don't get lost in the jargon.
