So what are all you T-Mobile people gonna do...

Apr 14, 2011, 11:07 AM
when T-Mobile is transitioned into AT&T? I mean, as a T-Mobile customer, you've made it clear that you want inferior service, so how are you going to cope with being part of a real carrier? You know it will make you less cool to conform, right?

Say what you want. I was an at&t customer for 7 years before joining t-mobile in november of 2010. T-mobile is far more innovative than at&t will ever be! Pricing is great and products are way ahead of at&t!

That's why I left ATT too, lack of innovation. Their raking in billions, and billions, and billions from all these Iphones, and data fees, but yet all of 08, all of 09 came and went and they never increased data speeds.

T-Mobile has proven that HSPA+ has a whole lot of potential, 21mbps, 42mbps, and yet ATT continues to stay still, their idea of HSPA+ is 14mbps, what loosers.

you are too premature. these companies are still competing against each other.

I kinda wonder how this merger will effect people choosing whether or not to upgrade to the newest smartphones on Tmo in these next 12 months.

Apr 14, 2011, 8:18 PM
probably nothing because if the merger is approved within 12 months.. it still will take 2-3 years before everything will be moved over and by then ; those people will upgrade.

even if you upgrade to a new tmo phone and the merger goes through, your phone will work just fine.

Lol what do these people think is going to happen when it goes through? The FCC says that they can purchase T-Mobile one day and the next day AT&T flips the switch on T-Mo service rendering the phones useless? Haha that is not the way it works. This will be a very long, drawn out process. If you buy a phone now on a 2 year contract I seriously doubt ANYTHING will change within your contract period other than the fact that you will at some point be able to roam off of AT&T's network, of course with only edge data speeds on most handsets, but at least you will be able to get voice and some data. Your bill will most likely be sent by AT&T at some point as well.
HzD incredible

The true is t-mobile and att use the same technology so any phone bought on t-mobile network will work just file after the merger. and the good news is if you have t-mobile unlimied data you can have att unlimied but at the $30 rate when they combine.

"good news is if you have t-mobile unlimied data you can have att unlimied but at the $30 rate when they combine."

you dont know this. i wouldnt say that. nothing has been final.

"The true is t-mobile and att use the same technology so any phone bought on t-mobile network will work just file after the merger."

Wrong...I wanted the cheapest most reliable service in my area (I rarely travel) and that's what I got and continue to get. Oddly though, ever since the "announcement" customer service seems to have gotten worse for some reason. This coming from a 6 year customer, and happy customer up until now. It's almost as though they are all giving up or something. If and when I leave T-Mobile, it will most surely be a direct reflection on their decrease in personal customer satisfaction, not having anything to do with the merger.

i feel bad for existing t mobile customers i was with t mobile for a while and was not impressed with the customer service then.now that they may lose their jobs i do not see them getting any better but to be honest i would not put my best efforts into a job i thought or knew i was going to lose soon either

May 5, 2011, 6:25 PM
I'm curious why it is that you call customer service often enough to compare their attitudes before and after the announcement?

You are a jerk for putting this question on here this way. You insult everyone that is a customer and lover of T-Mobile.

I love T-Mobile so much.
