I work in a corporate store as a sales rep. Lets just say, if your not willing to work hard and gain a client base, do not apply. I make awesome money in a not so busy store, all because i have repeat customers. It takes time, but if you work in a great location and have somewhat of a personality, your good to go!

good luck!!

I also work in a corporate store. When you say you need a job to support yourself, it is more than capable of it. But you have to keep in mind that a good chunk of your pay is commission, so it is up to you to drive referrals, do your follow ups and call your be-backs.Some months you will make a lot and others may be slow, so you have to keep that in mind when spending your money. We are moving to a new comp commission plan next month, so we will see how that turns out. I'm personally pretty excited about it. I work at a very low traffic store and we struggle to make quota some months, but under the new system quota isn't the primary goal. The biggest question to ask yourself is do you have a sales personality, if so you can do quite well. I...

VERY true! And we have very good benefits, probably because our parent company is Deutsche Telekom, and the Germans really care about good benefits! 😁

You should f/u with the store that you app'd at. Speak with the mgr and ask. He should tell you the progress on your app. If you haven't filled out a profile at www.t-mobile.com/jobs i would.

And for the first post. It depends on the area where you live at. I know they have a base hour pay and there are incentive and so on. Smylax can talk to you more about it he works in the store and knows what he is talkng about. I don't work inside a store.

It's a cut throat market right now. Everyone is looking for a job. Like all the people sprint and verizon layed-off. Experience helps. In most cases if you don't have experience you probably won't get it with all the people out there right now.

Yes you can, read my post of your first question. And in the last part, where I said if you're not a sales personality it would be difficult to adjust: this applies to any sales job. We got one girl here who would have been great in customer service, but she was horrible at sales. She didn't tell customers about everything that was available and didn't sell the benefits of products. She was always afraid to sell people features and accessories, which just resulted in her having lower commission checks and unsatisfied customers.
