No, T-Mobile does not support what they call "Vanity" requests. If your current carrier does, then change your phone number to what you want now, then port your number.

Smart thinking, I think I love the T-Mobile even more. I'm pretty happy now. You people on the forum are just like the customer service, nice and happy 🙂 yeah!

Long live the T-Mobile, I had a dream, and in this dream AT&T got in big trouble because of their customer service and their business practices, they were exposed for their evil ways and T-Mobile acquired their towers by default.. Also in this dream Verizon had to be broken up because of a monopoly of the CDMA market and as Ab Lincoln said, "a house divided cannot stand" or something like that, well Verizon soon crumbled and most of the customers joined the T-Mobile side and were very much satisfied.
Prices were decent, people were nice and you could drink from the garden hose once again. Global warming was found to be a scare tactic by Verizon and we all learned to be clean and earn an honest living. All because of T-Mobile, peace was once...

I have the T-Mobile pre-pay phone and I love the T-Mobile, I really hope they do well. I'm satisfied with everything about T-Mobile as a company. I wish they had larger coverage and I also wish their sim cards held more information but I really really love T-Mobile I think I'm going to start a club for T-Mobile.
