WHO IS HAPPY WITH T-MOBILE?

callie

I am wondering who of the PhoneScoop users out there is happy with T-Mobile's service. I have some family friends who have been T-Mobile customers for eight years or so and they are pleased with it. I have heard from others that they are a terrible cell phone provider. Who out there can say positive things about T-Mobile and its service?

From considerable experience, T-mobile's customer service is by far the most friendly and helpful of any major company (ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint). The prices are also by far the cheapest in most scenarios, but that's easy to compare against each company's website. Those are the good things, and they are really good.

The cons are simple. You can't be the best at everything and T-Mobile IMO certainly has its flaws. It is dead last when it comes to cool new phones, as it just gets the crumbs of what's left over. They're still rolling out their 3G network in some areas. And most importantly, depending largely on your personal location, their coverage just isn't very good in many spots.

Of course, that's just my 2 cents from...

There is good and bad with all of the providers. I was paying them before they were paying and what drew me to them was the minutes for the money and the customer service reputation. I continue to be happy with my service and would continue even when I move on. I will agree that the phones they decide to launch can at times be a bit questionable, but they are trying to keep things in line with what there core values have been to this point. Also, big picture it isn't really hurting business. Everybody also needs to remember that they are coming out with new concepts and products that nobody else offers. They purchased SunCom and are trying to get their 3G up and running. There coverage is ever expanding and things are only getting bet...

I agree they have improved a lot over the last few years as far as their service. And customer service has always been great when I called.

hello! well all i got to say is im very pleased with t-mobile. I switched from at&t(cingular) to t-mobile and its a much better difference. I love there customer service, they are really helpful and good of what they do, the plans and minutes are awesome! im getting double the minutes and much cheaper than i was paying to at&t. at&t customer service is a joke compared to t-mobile. I get coverage everywhere i go. havent got a dropped call yet. I would have to agree with everyone that they dont have much cool phones, but there are some thats really good. i got the curve.

T-Mobile is one of the best carriers that I have ever been with. Never a dropped call, Customer Service is AWESOME!!! When you call in to discuss your bill, they are always full of information and will answer your questions SOLIDLY!!!!

As far as the phones go, having a "Cool" phone is opinionated. A phone I may think is cool, you may puke over. I would honestly wait until the 3G network comes out with T-Mobile. The Network will be switching soon, and the phones they have right now, are not compatible to the 3G. The newer ones coming out will be. It would really suck if you got caught in the middle of that and had to buy another phone prior to the network switch.

The billing is fair I think. I have a family plan for 109.00 for...

I used to be a T-Mobile customer for 3 years, and I had good service. I switched to AT&T after I learned I'd get a better discount on service from them. T-Mobile has better signal in my area though.

I like their 300 Minute Unlimited weekend plan for 29.99.

I *WAS* happy with them for a whole month.
I chose them because they didn't participate in the NSA wiretapping scandal.
And in the first week when I got set up w/ them their customer service was far superior than AT&T.

now however they're backing down from the rebate they promised me when I bought the phone (now that it's too late for me to make any changes or cancel w/out incurring huge contract feeds). So now I'm cranky with them. ☚ī¸

Follow the directions! Contact the rebate center in Young America and find out what they need. Also the rebate center doesnot work for T-Mo the are a independent company.

I think they are just as good or just as bad as any other service, it just depends what phone you get and where you use the phone, and what your problem is whether or not the csr reps can solve it.
I have the curve which seems to work well on t-mobile and have had a few issues that all of the t-mobile reps have been able to work out. one was transferring my e-mail address from one phone to this one and it was handled very well.
I had verizon, switched to alltel , then to t-mobile they seem to have a little better voice quality,

Customer Service with T-Mobile is great. Reception and Data Services leave something to be desired. If you only want a phone to make calls and play an occasional game and you don't go outside of coverage area much or live/work in a cement bunker/building then T-Mobile would be a great service. If you want to be a power user go with another company.

As far as their service I am very pleased with t-mobile. We have been with them for almost 5 years now. I started out in Texas and moved to Tennessee and did not have any problems with reception. Then we moved to Ft Knox KY which is pretty much in the woods and the coverage was bad when we got here in 2006. But T-mobile set up new towers in the are and the reception got better and better over the last 2 years. Also they have great rate plans. The only downside is they don't have none of the phones that I like. So looks like we will be leaving them when our contract is up in April. But service wise I think they are really great!

I have been with tmobile five years and have paid them a lost of money. Up until recently I have been satisfied with tmobile. Although they claim to have the best customer service I don't see it if there is a problem. They take a sorry about your luck attitude.

In all the years I have been with them I have requested a credit 2 times. You would think I was always asking for credits the way I was treated the last time.

I have spoken with rude agents and been hung up on when I asked a simple question. I don't consider that good customer care. I'm not saying any of the other companies would be any better, but they aren't claiming to have the best either.

As long as you don't have any problems, TMobile is wonderful. However if ...

It just depends on where you at. Do you have the best coverage. I mean, I'm in pretty good area. I have my moments where I don't have the best service. I will say Pricing and C. Service is the BEST!!!!!!!! I love it!!!! However, I hate the phones... If they had phones like ATT and Verizon I would be in heaven!!
