HELP!! MMS on Blackberry Pearl
Hello!
I thought about going on phone scoop first before I call customer care and stay on the phone for hours.
So here's the problem...
I have a blackberry pearl with the "new" software (4.2). A few weeks ago I noticed that my internet was SUPER SLOW, or not even working. I called customer care to cancel my $19.99 data package and I asked her if that will mess up my MMS. She said no because your MMS is part of your unlimited text messaging plan. Well NOW i can't recieve or send any MMS.
I looked at the settings and found nothing I can do to fix it.
Any advice?

you have to get them to add a SOC called blackberry voice only (or words to that effect) it will allow you to do things that you would normally need the internet(s) to do with the bby. there is no charge for this add on. that should take care of it. sometimes when you change things on your account, if you send a picture to yourself, it will get your mms capability going again. hope this helps

Yes with the BlackBerry what he stated is definitely needed to use MMS. BlackBerry Voice Add-On is exactly what is is called. Free to you and allows the phone for MMS and TZones for account lookup.
