New PDA's
Has anyone heard anything about any new PDA's coming out soon, especially if theyhave a touch screen the wing is kind of old news.

The Wing (MDA 2) came out roughly 18 months after the MDA was released. The Wing came out less than a year ago. I'd give it about another 3-6 months before any new touch screen PDA comes out.

The Shadow 2 is coming out soon. Pretty decent looking update, with hopefully better battery life.

I don't believe the new "shadow" coming out will be named the Shadow 2. Shadow is actually a brand name, just like Sidekick, and will have different versions available. They'll give it some sort of catchy name i'm sure like the Shadow Liberty or something.

That comment was not thought out at all. Think about what you said. The Sidekick up to the 4th one was named Sidekick, Sidekick 2, and Sidekick 3. And who even said that was the name of the Shadow 2? Just an update on the release of the 2nd generation of the Shadow if that makes it better for you.

I was simply stating it will probably have a second name instead of simply being called the Shadow 2. That has been the current trend with T-Mobile and all the other carriers as well.
Sidekick is a brand name, different models with different names. It keeps the brand Sidekick and then is given a secondary name whether is be 2, D-Wade, or LX. The Shadow is the same thing. There will be many other Shadows launched, with different builds and looks.

Codenames dont last till release the large majority of the time. Like the original Shadow was called the HTC "Juno" before it got its branding. xjittianx probably has it right, it seems like they want name titles instead of 1,2,3 ect..
