I'm not expert about T-mobile, but I think thtat it is because it is considerably less money for a plan with t-mobile than other providers. They have fewer customers as well, and, therefore, less money to get those types of brands. They have the Sidekick though!

That's not correct, at least not about SE. T-Mobile had a bad experience with SE handsets a few years ago but that relationship has since been repaired. There is at least one SE phone being released this year.

Yes the T610 was a major headache for us when we carried it and three models they had in thepipeline were scrapped in part because of the performance of their previous phones and also because of their utter failure during network trials. We have no plans to carry Lucky Goldstar products.

I personally like LG phones, but since I've been with Tmobile, I really have become fond of the Samsung models, lol.

So what was the issue with the T610? That was my first phone w/ T-Mobile, and I loved it. Since then I've had 3 more unlocked SE phones, all of which have worked well for me. My main gripe about T-Mobile has been (my opinion) a selection of phones way too heavy on Samsung and too light on Nokia and SE.
