I had T-Mobile in Indiana, and I loved it - you really do get awesome service on the cheap, and have waited 5 years for it to come down to North Carolina, and now it's coming! I just want to know when - I can't seem to find any news.

September is when the merger of the brands will be. They say it may happen earlier. I live in Bft SC and have a few that have tmobile already but the coverage is shaky. But once they can use suncom and tmobiles towers the coverage will be awsome. They were told around Sept.

you do know that there are no t-mobile towers in the caronilas right now. they use a roaming agreement. the suncom towers will be the only t-mobile network until they build more towers.

Umm you do know you are WRONG! They have had service in SC for years. It is only in the extreme southern part but they do. They got it when they bought Powertel back when tmobile was voicestream. And if you don't believe me put in zip code 29902 and see for your self. Its always better to do some research before you put your foot in your mouth!

Lol! That's actually apart of the Georgia market, not the Carolina's. I know because I used to handle roaming LACS in the Carolina's for Cingular/AT&T. Those site are on the SC/GA line and apart of the GA market.

Maybe you should get your facts straight and know who you're talking to before you spout nonsense! T-.Mobile has NO spectrum in the Carolinas until the complete the merger with Suncom. Which is AT&T Wireless' old terrible network. T-Mobile has a lot work ahead of them cleaning that mess up before it's up to their standards.

Yes it may be but they have spectrum in SC and since beaufort and hilton head is more then 50 miles from GA I would say I am right. Powertel had service there and that is who they bought. They have local nunmbers in Beaufort that is 843-597-XXXX. They have been there since at least 2002 maybe longer. And suncom in the carlinas was not part of ATT. They have their own spectrum. Titon PCS.

😁 You must be slow. Triton PCS operates on the old AT&T Wireless network, not AT&T Mobility. I guess I'm done debating this with you. When you become a telecom engineer and learn how the telecom industry works, we'll talk again. 😉

well you must be the dumbest engineer because they only used ATT for roaming nationwide. They have their own towers and service were they provide it. If they didn't then when they split from att one of them would not of had service in parts of GA, TN, SC, and NC. And tmobile has towers all over beaufort, Hilton Head, Blufton, yemesse SC jsut to name a few cities they have serivce in SC. ATT wirless and ATT mobilty is one in the same when Cingual bought att. Suncom and ATT always were seperate. Just att used suncom and sumcom used att. When Cingular bought att it became a romaing agrement they didn't need anymore as cingular had service in suncom areas. So you can be done debating becuase you don't know what you are saying.

Not in the carolinas, buddy. ALL AT&T Wireless netwotk assets went to Suncom in the Carolinas. There was NO intergration done what so ever! So, AT&T Mobility and AT&T Wireless in terms of network in the Carolinas were NOT the same. Do some research, you'll find I'm correct.

Suncom used AT&T Wireless' network until the buyout, then it became their network. Suncom never owned thier on network in the Carolinas before the buyout.

I will check on that. I am not that sure of that one. But I am sure tmobile does have coverage in SC and that was the whole point of this subject. But what I read was the old ATT wireless did not have coverage in the caralinas and parts of GA. They used suncom. It is on suncoms webpage that they always had spectrum there. But when cingular bought att they already had service and it was not in their intrest to keep the agrenment in place.

So your saying suncom only had spectrum in Peurto Rico? I find that hard to believe. And the FCC has the licenses issued to Triton PCS before the merger of cingular and att.

But liek I siad that was not the intial subject. I already proved that tmobile does have spectrum in the SC. I think they have o...

yeah I don't know everything and when I say something that someone says I am wrong. The first thing I do is look it up. I hate peopel that think they know and then when proven wrong keep going then when confronted with overwhelming information that proves them wrong disapears. I am wrong and I will be the first to admit it. Being wrong and knowing it makes people better.
