Any new phone rumors???
I'm saving my upgrade for something better, the Shadow wasn't as good as i expected. Any new rumors?

thats the only thing, i'm very particular, i dont really like nokia, se, or moto(i actually despise moto). if i get a unlocked phone, i'm getting the HTC Touch Cruise. But i really want to get a t-mobile brnaded phone cause i'm lazy and i dont want to have to configure things, and i'm cheap so its with a T-Mobile phone.
I appreciate your feedback though man, still looking for a good T-Mobile branded phone that will come out soon.

Yeah, mean they are good phones, but they have always felt cheap to me, LG, and SE too. Also, more people i know have had problems with Nokia phones and SE phones than the phones I use like Samsung (still cheap but better quality), this is also based on experience working in the mobile industry, those were the most commonly returned cell phones we sold.

I have played with the 6263 and it seems to be built very well so you could consider that. I have a Nokia N73 and configuring it to get on the internet is very easy.

Its not the setup that i dont like, i can do all of that i just don't like the UI, or the way they look or feel thats all.

I've worked in the wireless industry before and had a phone for a loooong time. I'm not a noob, I'm very particular with the phones I choose for myself.

Well i have been hearing that T-Mobile might be getting sony phones soon. they have an aggrement to build out the new 3g network this year and i would have to think some phone might be on the way.
Nokia, well i have seen a few pics on the fcc site of some new ones something like an s60 and some candy bars. a few flips and some new wifi phones too.
Moto? nothing...
Samsung, there are a few in the pipe line too.
Htc, a new upgrade to the shaddow is on the way and a new unnamed htc for us.
Black berry 9000 series is on the way. the name might change but its online as the 9xxx series.

As far as i know the updated Shadow only will be adding the uma or Hotspot at Home service. There is a rumor that it will have our 3g service too since it should be up and running by Feb-April area. I'll keep ya updated...

I had a shadow and i think if they do an update it needs to have:
-3G
-A tighter scroll wheel
-More theme options (the download-able custom ones don't always function the same)
-Unlock only on the slide out keypad(my phone used to unlock itself too easily and call people)
-BETTER BATTERY LIFE!
-Open customization! Would dominate the market for sure.
-Faster processor and more memory, it was kind of ridiculous that just running the phone with no apps took up 35% of the memory.

The Shadow is a brand name, just like the sidekick... so there will be more Shadows phones in the future.

I never saw the unlock only on slide option in the settings so if you could give a path it would be awesome. And when I say open customization, I mean Full access to customize themes, icons, menu options, fonts, everything and it would be great to have it included in the windows sync disc, I know this will never happen but you have to admit, it would be a killer idea. with that I would even be willing to pay $15 for an official version.
