It is the second highest rated carrier in the city (1st is uscellular) I have it now and I don't have a problem at all. If you are a person who has a pda and likes hi speed service, you might have issues but outside of that I have never dropped a call (outside of the subway of course)

I didn't have any problems when I was at O'Hare, but I'll let you know when I go to my dad's house in Kankakee this week.

I have had t-mobile since 2003. I don't have any issues at all. They filled a lot of gaps within the last year or two. I live out in DuPage county. No problem in the downers grove area all the way to the north side. The edge service does not go very far outside the chicagoland metro area. You can see the edge network here:

If you can live with that, i highly recommend it. If your not sure, try t-mobile w/o porting first. If you like it, then port your number. If it doesn't work out for any reason, just cancel the tmobile line and your still all set.

Good luck!

Hey danska, I saw you registered for that "other site." I hope you can get on there, I missed ya on hofo.

I was the one who had a VERY hard time deciding between T-mobile and Cingular when I moved back from Florida.

Shhhhhhh if you remember the name, but I'll see ya on the flip side. We managed to get quite a few of the big t-mobile posters onto that new site.
