To the people of at&t

I just want to tell you my little story about at&t.
One day I thought to myself, "maybe I'll try at&t" so I got a prepaid phone and tried them out. I never got text messages. I called it in and they told me it was my fault. I yelled at them and they patched me in to someone else. I told them my problem and they said tough. So I thought maybe they just had a bad day. I tried later and the lady that could actually speak english got me a free text package but it didn't fix the problem. I thought I would keep giving at&t a chance. They took over a local company that used unlocked phones in my area. The people there have been lying to them saying that their unlocked phones will no longer work and that they need to switch their plans asap.

theres alot more out there just like you man this is the main reason att has the worst retention rate in the industry hope t mobile is going good for you if not try out U.S. Cellular gurranteed you are happy with them they have exceptional customer service and thats what it sounds like you want also they give you 30 days to try them out

i was thinking the same thing, why in gods name would you ever want to unlock a go-phone?


go-phone support has to be one of the worst customer service jobs there is, you have to deal with people all day that believe their always right and pay the least amount because their credit is already in the ****ter minus a few exceptions.

Yes, some AT&T reps actually hang up on people. I was hung up on Friday. I was talking to this CSR who had on idea how to fix my bill. We were on the phone for 34 mins. All of a sudden she said I'm sorry and hung up on me. I, needless to say, was furious!
AT&T needs to hold these reps accountable! I had to call back and explain myself all over again. I told this to the rep who I talked to afterwards and she said she couldn't tell who she was, because she didn't put any notes on the account.
I know how AT&T's billing systems work because I worked for Cingular. They should change it as in whenever you pull up an account, you create an inquiry, and this inquiry stays open under your name until you put a note on the account. This will prevent...

Anytime someone pulls up an account at a store it creates a note.

I asked the rep I talked to after her, and she said she didn't notate the account. I thought she'd put something like: "call dropped" But she didn't. Maybe because when she asked what was a good number to call if we got disconnected I said: don't worry, I never drop calls!

When I worked customer care, it was trackable, if not in the bill system then in the phone statistics. Reps who got funny ideas and started releasing calls inappropriately didn't get away with it for long before being written up or terminated.

Excuse me? It definitely does not represent how I do MY JOB. If the person trully did do that then they should be fired. They wont be because they are protected by a union though.

Ifyou think you can even begin to judge a company by the way people on an Internet forum respond to an obvious troll then you would have to conclude that all companies provide equally dismal service.

This is not the official AT&T customer support forum. And Drunk, is just some guy entertaining himself by trying to get people to argue with him.

Why the hell do you call me a troll? You judging me on this stupid forum is pretty hypercritical, it's not even the same as me telling people my experience with at&t. What did I do to you? Really? I made an attack on at&t because they suck, they have screwed people in my area a ton. I'm going to make a stupid judgment like you just did and say you are one of at&t's costumer service people, just because of they way you act. Is that fair?

Actually, I, as well as probably many of the people here read other forums, such as the Lounge. Where you blathered on at length the other day trying to say something, anything to get a rise out of people.

When somebody comes onto a forum to rant and spew, NOBODY should ever take them seriously. These guys don't get paid enough money to listen to garbage like this from someone who is rude, inconsiderate, and obviously not seeking resolution to his problem.
