I currently have a Moto V557 never had any problems with it but I've put it thru hell and high water.

My younger cousin went from a flip phone to the W810i ( Which by the way is an AWESOME PHONE!! and after tax got the phone and a 4GB disk for right around $325.00 - Catch a call rep on the right day and say a few nice things they will take care of you)

That would be my suggestion as well. I've looked very closely at both the W810i & W300i. While I like the W810i a lot, I also prefer a flip phone. The W300i has almost all of the same features and functionality as the w810i except a lower resolution camera. That doesn't bother me...I have a nice DSLR for taking photos. The W300i can be gotten from the Cingular website or at almost any Radioshack store.
