Hey,
I just got cingular yesterday, and thus far I'm really impressed. At my house, I used to get 1 bar of reception with verizon, if I was lucky, with cingular I get 4/5 bars, if not full.
Anyway, for the first month, they're giving me unlimited data, so I'm playing around with that. I just tried out mobile AIM, and I've noticed that not all of my online buddies show up in the buddy list. How do I fix this?
Thanks

There could be serveral reason for you to encounter this problem

1) If you get an invitation from a buddy and you accept it from your phone they won't appear on your list until you log on to AIM from you computer and activate him as a friend. (This has happened to me twice on MSN IM) It's a quick fix.
2) They might be on "mobile" mode. If my friends on MSN IM are mobile they don't show as online when I log on on my phone. They only appear as half/way online, "mobile" on my computer.
3) They might have a older version of AIM that doesn't support mobile IM.

I'm not sure what's going on. Perhaps they are on older versions of aim. Though, mobile IM is difficult since it's hard to type fast. haha

hopefully you got unlimited text messaging for the first month. The data only covers data not IM that is covered by text messaging.

yeah, I'm pretty sure the txts are unlimited too. But it doesn't matter. I'm not planning to use aim that much... especially since half of my buddies don't show up.
