Bluetooth Earpiece

Hi, I am hoping to get many responses to this. I just purchased my first bluetooth phone (Nokia 6620) and now I am in search of a good, if not great, bluetooth earpiece. I know Motorola makes several different models, as does Nokia and Sony Ericsson. I've also run across a Tekkeon EZ talker ET2000 online. I would love to hear what kind you guys and girls have and your feedback on your particular model. I am interested in things like the audio quality and volume you hear, as well as what the other end hears as well. And how people tell you that you sound when you are riding down the road with maybe the window cracked a bit. Battery life is another issue. As I said, I hope to get lots of feedback on this so it will help me make my decision. Ma...

I second that... it would be nice to have a section on phone scoop to review bluetooth devices.

I have the jabra bt 250, prob the best headset you can find for a decent price.

1. it stays in place better than any other headset Ive used (I have used all the motos, and a plantronics, most of my friends have these)
2. awesome battery life I use mine regularly and all i do is turn it off at night and it lasts at least a week, I charge mine every sunday night to be sure.
3. The volume can be set so loud that you wished that you would have went with another muffled headset, but volume is easy to adjust.
4. holds a connection very well with the two handsets that ive used it with, the 6620 and the v3
5.you can find it pretty cheap on ebay, but I got mine for free so Im not sure where to tell you to shop at, definately don't pay more tha...

Thank you for your reply. I guess you are the only one on this forum that has a bluetooth headset since no one else recommended anything. Either that, or they just could care less about helping someone.

I was visiting phonescoop.com for a while before I noticed it had forums. Plus this forum's focused more on Cingular employee conversations, it seems, so you might have less of an audience for the question.

You might try asking the question in forums for phones that are bluetooth-enabled, like the Moto V551 or the Nokia 6230 or etc. 🙂

Hi there, I currentlu use 3 Motorola BT headsets for three different phones. Here they are in general.

Motorola HS810 - It is the one with the flip and boom. I like it because you can close the boom and it closes connection with the phone saving battery life. I use this headset with my Motorola v710 with alltel. Sound is great hearing but over the time it seems as if ppl are having a hard time hearing me. At first it worked great so it might be from the beating I am giving it and the fact that it is 9 months old. I purchased this from radio shack for $99 at the present time but you can get it from www.wirelessimports.com for $49.99

Motorola HS820 - This is the version without the boom. Its just a standard BT headset which the battery l...

I've used an earlier Jabra (model 200) for over two years. Battery life is now corrected on the newer Jabra models - most feel they are the best.

A new Jabra, the BT800, has caller ID, which is an important enhancement. However, not all BT phones will transmit the CID over the Bluetooth link, not sure about your new phone.

Howerd's runs a forum dedicated to just Bluetooth accessories. Google for Howerd's Forums. Good luck.
