What is a good basic phone? Good reception and ease of use most important. Phone for older person not to tech savy.

Pantech Breeze is the leading basic phone with AT&T.
Good signal strength, larger keys, decent sized screen for a flip phone. It may be the leader since it is free.

Samsung Rugby II is down to $49.99, and is a rugged phone. Also a good option.

Only other basic phones in the post-paid lineup are the LG A340, Samsung A157, and Rugby III. Smartphones are the wave, basic phones are dwindling.
