I think you would be able to tell us! Why don't you do some simple tests. MAke a call side by side, do a data speed test. See which one is more reliable. In general, the iphone doesn't pull strong signal anyway. Try a blackberry torch on at&t and see the bars go up! I have a samsung captivate and it is pretty reliable even with one bar of 3g coverage. But I do run into issues at home where I will have to resend a text or it will drop the occasional call. But, overall it isn't bad.

I would recommend att's 3G micro cell. It works wonders for customers. It would take that 1 bar of service and turn it into 3 or 4.
