Alltel's Rate Plan Change..Doesn't Cingular Do The Same Thing To An Extent?

I was told I could change my rate plan anytime and would not be billed any pro-rated portion of the bill as long as I did it at the start of my new bill cycle which is at the 18th of every month.

I believe that is the case with any company.

Yes you can change your rate plan at any time as long as it is the start of a new bill cycle.

But if you are within the first half of your contract with Cingular your contract doesnt start over. Alltel at any point within your contract you can change plans without having to be forced into a new contact. Thats what I was told
